German National Championships 2001

Kati & Rene withdrew from the German Championships on Thursday, January 4th, 2001, after their compulsory and original dance practice. Rene is suffering a fish poisoning since New Year's Eve and Kati is suffering a bronchitis. The team doctor ordered them to stay in bed. They will stop their training until Monday.


Garters "banned" from Ice Dance ;-)

Kati Winkler will change her costume for the Original Dance "Cabaret" after judges indicated that the team would be penalized when she would keep on wearing the garters. The dance team attracted very much attention during the ISU Grand Prix Series due to their costume well choosed to the Cabaret-theme, but unfortunately for the judges it's too much show. :-)
