2007/2008 Figure Skating Season

Hej Kati, hej Rene,

first of all, I would like to say that you are such a gorgeous couple together. You have so much charme and esprit it is pure pleasure to watch you. Actually it is a shame that you guys aren't together, but I guess it is better that way when working together.

But, be honest... Was there never some kind of chemistry going on between you? This is such a personal sport you are doing there.
Rene, Kati is the most beautiful woman in sport! And Kati, did you never notice his butt?!? Hell, nicest butt ever! ;o)

But probably it is just the chemistry you produce for the audience which is great. You guys doing fantastic. You put magic on us. Great! Big kudos!!

Anyways... I was kind of surprised the other day when I saw you skating with other ppl on a tv show called Stars on Ice. It must be on German or Austrian television cause I didn't understand anything (of course) but I figured language must be German. Have that been you real partners you were skating with? They seemed kind of awkward in a way. I mean, they did good, but there aren't professionals, right?

Was really funny to watch! :o)
Keep up the good working! You guys are awesome.

Hello, Sarah
Thank you for your mail and your compliments :-)
Yes, you are right when you are doing this kind of sport, there must be some chemistry and we had that too.
But we started skating together when we were 13. And we were always the same age, so we have seen each other more as good friends. With all the ups and downs we had ( like every other couple too...), we are happy that we made it through all these years, almost 19 years together on the ice, and can still be good friends. That´s not always normal.
With "Stars auf Eis" you are right, it was a German TV Show and we just skated for this show with different partners, they were somehow celebrities of German TV or sports, but no skaters. It was hard work, but a lot of fun. They are going to do a second part of this show may be this winter. We will see.
All the best to you and we learnt something new: Puss och Kram. Sounds funny to us. :-)
Kati and René

Hello,

How are you doing?
How's your demonstration of new Compulsories in Nebelhorn-Trophy?
Did you feel nervous? :-)

And I have one question.
Would you demonstrate them in 2007 europeans too?
Would you tell me the date you'll skate if it's true?

All the best

Hello, Asako
The demonstration at the Nebelhorntrophy was quite good, but there is still^a lot of work to do.
We were not so much nervous as in a competition, but we were happy, that the Quickstep and the Jive with some changes will be accepted.
For now it is looking like it's going to bet he 27th./28th of January at Europeans, but not totally sure. Just try to find out beginning of January over our Internetsite again Asako.
All the best to you and Greetings from Germany
Kati and René :-)
